Monstanto currently have an opening for am Employment Branding Specialist based at their Headquarters in Creve Coeur, MO. The Employment Branding Specialist role will support the development and implementation of Monsanto Employment Branding strategies, providing cross-functional process support and program implementation, tracking and measurement for various work streams and key initiatives at the direction of the Monsanto Global Employment Branding Lead.

The Employment Branding Specialist will work closely with Talent Acquisition Leads, Recruiters, Corporate Marketing and various communications teams to provide comprehensive Employment branding support. The Specialist will have the opportunity to develop and execute short and long term employment branding strategies in alignment with the business objectives of the partnering business units, teams and /or regions.

Responsibilities:

This role will drive key project outcomes to include: external media strategies, corporate career site, Talent Acquisition System brand communications and technical integration, internal team site management, and coordination of external employment award applications. In addition to supporting US Talent Acquisition, this will include supporting the development and execution of regional resources and tools.

The Employment Branding Specialist will work in conjunction with Monsanto's integrated marketing agency to support external advertisement creation and placement along with other external vendors and internal stakeholders. This will include obtaining specifications and producing and tracking ads or other collateral for internal or external branding deliverables within established timeframes. The Specialist will support ongoing efforts to train and educate internal stakeholders on the employment brand standards to ensure adherence and brand integrity.

This role will provide regular progress updates to Global Employment Branding Lead including media results and ROI on investments in key focus areas. Additionally the Specialist will identify opportunities to improve results and process to achieve overall strategy and document all corresponding content for projects / processes.

This individual must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and client management skills while displaying the highest degree of integrity in implementing the industry's best practices (sourcing, recruiting, candidate assessment). The ideal candidate will be detail and process oriented, organized, creative, proactive, consultative and understand the urgency and confidentiality of the recruitment/marketing function. They must be able to meet tight deadlines and simultaneously manage multiple priorities.

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Communications, Branding, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
  • A minimum of 9 years relevant working experience in related industry or similar capacity with particular emphasis on planning and executing branding / communications programs, with an emphasis in brand marketing
  • Demonstrated experience with communications strategy, processes, tools, and content development (both offline and online), including design experience. Competency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop along with MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Global project experience, including vendor management with agency and / or freelance support (e.g., PR, creative, web development, and copywriting).
  • Experience with current web technologies, blogging, wikis and social networking resources
  • Strong consultative and influencing skill. Able to work effectively and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong verbal, written/editorial (preferably for awards or recognition), oral/presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Self-starter with high energy level, strong results and customer-orientation.
  • Intercultural competency (ability to work within a multi-national, multi-ethnic, multi-lingual organization).
  • Available to travel as needed


Desired:

  • MS Degree is a plus
  • Language skills a plus, prefer Spanish
  • Strong understanding and experience working in a matrix environment
  • Global project management experience a plus
